Working with Bracken I & II

As part of my programme with all horses, I work them in the sea on the lunge. Horses with a fear of water and leg problems benefit a great deal from this therapy. It always works! Here I am working with Bracken I, who was a three year old race horse, with leg problems. In the other picture I am working with Bracken II, a four year old, teaching her to open and shut gates. All of the horses I work with learn to open the gates in the yard and I find this is very good for manners. Bracken II also had a problem loading in horse boxes or trailers. Her previous owner took hours to get her into the box. She now loads up like a dream - it's like second nature and she will box in a horse-box or a trailer happily.
