Tilton House Stable Yard, near Dunbar in East Lothian has a long and distinguished history as a Racing yard. It was from here that Rockavon, winner of the 1961 Two Thousand Guineas and Milesius, winner of the Ayr Gold Cup in 1966, rode out to exercise on Belhaven beach nearby. At that time the yard was in the ownership of George Boyd and over a thousand winners have ridden out from here. Andrew Kerr Sutherland has taken the yard in a new direction. He has set the stables up to offer a wide range of services, giving horses a second chance and suporting owners to have a better understanding of their horse. Any horse coming to the yard will be one of the family, with a programme tailored to its needs and which the owner can then continue. 'Everyone will be a winner because I am committed to helping the horse and the owner achieve their full potential as a partnership.'
